The (10) charges just shoot off and randomly lower enemy defence by like 15 levels or something like that (and it happens on monsters too). The charges go off somewhat rarely and are unpredictable. They're pretty much worthless and once they're all gone your mask will still give you +15% str and att when you're on a slayer task.

I can tell you don't slay much.

 

 

 

They're pretty helpful during slayer tasks, Bloodvelds go by much faster when you hit 24s instead of 21s :)

Ooooooooh!!! I see what you thought I meant! The mask is extremely useful! I was talking about the (10) charges, they're useless. Read it slower to check what I meant :wink:

yup yup. the charges on the mask are worthless eye candy.

 

 

 

Mask is all about the +15% att and str (i.e. the salve effect) when killing slayer assigned monsters.

 

 

 

To give you and idea about how powerful the mask is..

 

 

 

At 42 slayer / 80ish cb with like 63 range, a mate let me borrow his then new mask to see if

 

 

 

1, it was tradable

 

2, could be equipped by a slayer level under 58.

 

 

 

It was on both counts so I bought a 0 charge mask for 500 k right that moment.

 

 

 

5 work days later was 65 slayer.

 

 

 

Next step for my slayer level is a set of gunthans for the heals as levels past 65 start to slow down.
