August 9, 200619 yr You can get boots in every metal, including black. They are all drops from slayer monsters. Most people don't bother with them until they get to addy or rune. Rune cost between 150-200k from players. The best f2p boots are the stronhold ones I think, same stats as steel boots (at least on p2p they have the same stats, maybe on f2p they're just for show). df

August 9, 200619 yr They are from the security stronghold which Jagex released a little while ago. You will need to have set your recovery questions to complete the stronghold. Don't worry about the high level monsters, you can run past these. At the end (level four gift) you a re given a choice of 'fancy' (colourful) or 'warrior' (steel) boots. Edit: both boots have the same stats btw
