Guide To Anti Scam/Hack

Well first off i dont feel like organizing this so sorry lol.Okay now.If you haven't experienced a scammer like i have then you probably aren't "vaccinated".You aren't sure what to do.Now if anyone you don't know gets on ur account dont ever report your account.Report the guy who scammed you's account.If there is evidence then Jagex could accidently ban your account.So be careful.

 

 

 

Passwords-

 

 

 

Dont make your password obvious.Dont make it asdfghjkl124567890.Thats plain dumb.Thats one of the top 50 thigns people use to try to get on your acount.Now a few ways to avoid people disliking you-

 

 

 

1.Dont act all dumb.Just like in middle school.Dont go around calling the 8th graders meatballs who lost all their sauce 50 years ago or wahtever.

 

2.Don't try a sad attempt in scaming them.They will report you and/or steal your account.

 

 

 

Now for hackers-

 

 

 

You can't prevent your self from being hacked and i mean with real hacks.WMV files can be keylogged which means it records all your typings in a log.So if you arent that trusty with new people who came to tip.it with a wmv file dont click it unless you know them.Wait till people find out its alright.Hackers can use hacks where they put in all combinations known to man.So just watch out.Update your password atleast once a month.

 

 

 

Scams(again)-

 

 

 

Now if someone says they will give u a free partyhat dont trust them.Unless he can give u the phat directly then don't do it.Thats how i got scammed when i was full-proof.I felt dumb after it and you will too.If people say to tell them your pass and click alt+f4 for a free santa hat dont do it.Alt+f4 turns off the application in the window you are in.And once again...be careful.Never tell your password to anyone.Anyone can get your account banned with a few words or a few actions.Don't fall for the "Passwords get bleeped out" trick.People just write in the little star with the 8.Dont say you're password in public at all!

 

 

 

More to come later but i hope this piece will help you stay out of trouble.Please dont flame that everyone knows how to be scam-free because new players dont know how to stay away from scammers.

what about recoveries?

 

and never tell your pass to anyone, even your brother could get your account banned.

 

also, alt+f4 wont close aol, simply open a window asking if you want to close it

 

 

 

maybe reccomend not to beg?

 

 

 

and if someone gets onto your account, just change your pass with recoveries, as you don't know exactly who stole your pas, even if you have a good chance of guessing.

Certain keyloggers can now take screenshots of every click you do, with all the technology today. So a bank pin sometimes doesn't help whatsoever. And if you've done Stronghold Security it says to chose a birthday of a famous person or something like that, which isn't really that smart either because if someone you know hacks you, they'll know say your favourite actress/actor/singer/whatever! So, the bottom lign is, a bank pin doesn't always help.
