i have 256 mb pc2700 ddr sdram memory and 80 gh 72000 rpm ultra dma hard drive. should i upgrade? and if so what should i get?

I would upgrade the ram. Increase your ram to 512mb or 1gb, the later being the recomended upgrade.

 

 

 

The hard drive you can upgrade but only if your running out of space on your current hard drive. If not, you wont see any preformance increase from the extra disk space.

Since you have pc2700 ram I'm guessing you have ddr ram. You would need to get the model number of your computer and get the motherboard details to see how many ram slots your motherboard has. Or you could open up your computer and check.
