I didn't get what you meant by the square scheme background, so yeah..

And about the springs from an edge, I think you meant a certain type of thing, but I tried it with several backgrounds and it simply looked really bad on them. I hope you like this anyway.

No problem, your corrections keep my stuff working like you want them =)

In practice is the time to make all the corrections anyway =)

I will get right on it ASAP.

EDIT: ASAP meaning, of course, I will either get it done today or tomorrow, depending on my class workload.

I didn't get the source brush from that...

Though I did use a compilation layer brush from a few images, one of which looks close to that.

Forgot to say..

Chances are it looks nearly the same because the thing looking like that I made from a tutorial. The end of that tutorial displays that result.

Whats that smell?

....Wait, no, its bullcrap.

An image like that was most likely rendered in a 3d program and photoshopped up. There is no way you could get a result as perfect as written in the tutorial, ie the light on the marble being in exactely the same place.

Will you post a link to this tutorial so we can see?

I will do something with it later. For now, I have to get ready to leave school.

I'll take it! Please make it say Thundy999! :)

Actually, the base orb was made in photoshop, and I had to input certain coords on it to make the glare look the same. (the ring around it was a preset effect)

The work around the orb was done in school, also on photoshop, using various layers, using, if I remember correctly, A flare grouped with some low opacity settings.

The background seen in the one you found came from who-knows-where, but wasn't one I used.

The line work after all of it was normal lines on low opacity, colored white. I added those to show off to one of my friends that I could almost exactly duplicate something without ctrl c/v.
