start by getting a clue, clues are semi rare drops from most monsters, check the bestiary to find which ones

Treasure trails are started from Clue Scrolls. Clue Scrolls, are drops from certain people/creatures in RuneScape.

 

 

 

Once you get a clue scroll, you read it and then follow what it says. They give great rewards too!
