Anti
What's the best way to get my smithing level high, and roughly how much will it cost me? Will I make any profit? Roughly how long will it take? This is pretty much all I need to know, and by high, I mean 90+. Any ideas? I was thinking Cannonballs, but they don't give too much smithing exp.. And if I smelt steel bars, that would just take waaay too long. Does anyone happen to know death_siren? She stole a green mask from me, and I think I found my way into her ignore list. If you know anything, please, don't hesitate to give me a pm.
djo0
1. Mine iron and smelt with ring of forging. It's good mining xp, and pretty good smithing xp, but not any good if you want to make money 2. Cannon Balls are good money and ok xp, but they are a pain to make. 3. Smelting gold bars is also pretty good if you have the goldsmithing gauntlets from the Family Crest quest. It's a pretty good way to get some money by selling the bars, or you could use them to lvl up in your crafting. Anti
Those don't really seem to be great smithing exp though... Should I mine my own coal and iron, make steel plates, then high alch them till 99? Does anyone happen to know death_siren? Ethiery
If there was a "great" way to get smithing exp, everyone be doing it, sadly there's no great way. 1) High profit - lowish exp speed: Cannon balls. 2) Low profit - Medium exp speed: Buy iron ores, smelt, iron knives, sell. 3) Loss of cash - High exp speed: Buy gold ores and smelt with gaunts. 4) Low cash - slow exp speed: mine coal and iron, alc plates. (Did this one... it's horrid.) A man who doesn't read, is no smarter than a man who can't read.
Anti
Hmmm..... think the knives would be at all effective? Does anyone happen to know death_siren? superway25
If you want fast exp you will lose millons. If you bought bars and made plates. Just mine your own ore, or the much so but a little porfitable way i did. I made steel bars then traded to people for 1 iron 2 coal and 50 gp per bar.
