I think there should be a link on the top with search profile rules etc. that links you to all of your posts so that u can find your post easier and figure out if anyone responded to it.

2. It already exists. Go to the Index and on the right side there are three links. "View your posts", "View unanswered posts", and "View posts since your last visit". The "view your posts" tab shows all the posts you've ever made that still exist and links you to their threads.
