Guest
There are only odds, even with those odds you could kill 1 and ge ta drop or you could kill 40,000 and get a drop. There is no magical formula.

If a drop is 1 is 1000 then that doesnt mean that you will get something after 1000 kills. Proabability doesnt work like that. If that was the case then people would be complaining to Jagex that they havent got the chain that they deserved after X dust devil kills. Just to give you an indication of how rare dragon items are, I have 100 combat, almost 75 slayer, and have never had a single dragon drop. I'd say that I have killed a good few hundred thousand monsters (at least) that drop dragon items. to be honest, I think that you are wasting your time trying to get a dragon drop, unless you are going for the chain, where the reward makes up for the time spent. Best Barrows Chest: guth skirt, dh helm, dh axe, racks, gp (23/08/06); best tt reward: robin, guthix helm, guthix legs, nats, rune legs
Doomster
For monster drops, it shouldn't make any difference if you take a roomful at one sitting, or do them one at a time - you could get the rare drop from the first one, or perhaps never. A whole mythology sprung up: Kill them quickly, kill them slowly, let them hit you at least once, let them hit you to low HP - all have been suggested as things that were thought to influence the drop. One very common superstition is that you will NOT get good drops if fighting defensive.
fritoebola
a file where jagex keeps control of how many monsters you kill, so if i kill 30 of that kind this month , then next week 20, then next year another 20, is like i have kill the whole bunch (30+20+20) in a day??? if so, i would not matter if i log off to have a brake (some food, or sleep) to the rate 1/ whatever million of monster to get a nice drop.

You don't understand. Ok, say there is a bag of 10 balls, 5 of which are red the other 5 are blue. The chance of you picking a red is 5/10 or 1/2, if you put the ball back in the chances are 5/10 and 1/2 for a red ball. Same works if mosnter drops. Say the chance of an item is 1/1000, you get a drop from the monster you kill. The next one you kill the chance is still 1/1000.
