I've read that the new magic and range prayers increase magic or range by either 5, 10, or 15%, but is it just for accuracy or does it also increase damage? I haven't had the chance to try them out yet.

Both damage and accuracy! Many players use it in stake and wild. Really great update for both F2P and P2P

the prayer guide says it only increase accuracy though. I still don't know if it increases magic but now i just tested it and i know it increases ranged.

Like all the stat enhancing prayers, the 5-15% bonus increase your lvl in that skill. For range, this means your accuracy and str are both improved, but for mage, where there is a max hit for most spells, only the accuracy is improved.
