I am not sure that this is the right forum, but I posted in the Price Check thread in Falador Square and was told that that was the wrong place. I am just wondering if anyone could give me their estimates on how long it will take Santa Hat's to get to the following prices, even rough guesses are fine.

I have tried to find out previous prices to try and make an estimate, but I couldn't find any old threads of people selling them...

I'd say 40mil by half way through 2007, 50 mil by christmas 50 mil and 60 mil half way through 2008 by about may. \ :thumbsup:

After buying a hat back in June, I started checking prices every now and then and then jotting them down.

 

 

 

06/15/06 : 11.1 mil (prices dipped due to addition of construction skill)

 

08/15/06 : 20.0 mil

 

08/24/06 : 22.5 mil

 

08/28/06 : 25.6 mil (santas skyrocket on news of cursed_you ban)

 

08/30/06 : 26 mil (it'll be interesting to see if we see a slight dip as the cursed_you news gets old)

 

08/31/06 : 25 mil (suprise, suprise)

 

09/05/06 : 25.75 mil

 

09/07/06 : 25.5 mil

 

09/12/06 : 25.4 mil

 

09/15/06 : 25.4 mil

 

 

 

Hat prices rose about 10 mil from 6/15 to 8/15 and then about 5 mil from 8/15 to 9/15 so if things continue at that rate prices will hit 50 mil in 5 months. Hard to say that with confidence though as my sample size isn't very large yet.
