Mods please i know that this isn't the right area for help like this.. However it is the one where im most likely to get the correct answers..

 

 

 

Anyway, when i film runescape with hypercam it makes me lag quite bad, i can play but nowhere near full potentinal.

 

 

 

These are my options:

If this does get locked anyway can you pm me what you do if im using the wrong options.

 

 

 

Also does the full version of hypercam lag any less?

My options are the same as yours except for Video compressor is on auto select, And it dosnt lag mine at all. If that dosnt work you just may have a laggy connection :oops:

Right click on desktop > properties > settings > advanced > trouble shoot > then put hardware acceleration to None... then when your finished you can put it back the way you put it down.

Ah i forgot about that.. i haven't played runescape in ages. I'll test it now, but if i remember correctly it didn't help that much.

Whats your internet connection?

 

even with an T3 connection you lag on world 1(happened once to me :( )

 

 

 

for no lag i'd suggest putting everything off(peer2peer,msn)

8mb download/2mb upload.

 

 

 

I haven't tried returning to world 3 to pk yet.. I know it will be too laggy.

 

 

 

I turned the acceleration down and it helped.. but not enough. This is really annoying... any other suggestions?

 

 

 

Maybe i have too many proccess running on my computer.

simple solution... use camstudio instead, no lag, no watermark and better quality

Um.. Click run, type 'Taskmgr' Highlight any processes that are your username, stop anything but explorer[Caution: ExecutableFile] and obvious things that are system processes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Maybe that's all i can think of... Buy a RAM chip off ebay for like ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã20 or $13. Make sure you buy the right one. :-)
