Im doing the amrik varze part witht the creme brulee. I got to the evil chicken, killed him then died on the black dragon and lost the mixture. so i did everything all over again and went to the chicken and he wasnt there. So i went to talk to the old man about it again but the chicken still wasnt there.

No idea what you should do. I'd just wait a while and go back to see if the chicken is back. Check again now. And this time, avoid dying by the black dragons.
