Tips for selling iron ore and coal??

Featured Replies

Im fairly new to the game but am a bit of a miner ....I have large stocks of iron and coal and have dabbled a little in selling it!

However I've noticed that people obviously always want things on the cheap what would be the minimum I should take for coal and iron per unit? and where is best to sell it?

I tend to sell in lots of 100, 200 or 1k but can sell in larger volumes if required.

Cheers

Selling and buying items is all about location. In certain banks certain items or traded. For example, Varrock east bank is used for essence trades, because all the essence miners bank there. Cooked lobsters are usually sold in edgeville bank, because pkers are there to restock their supplies.

The place to sell your ores would be Falador east bank, because it's very close to the mining guild. As for prices, iron goes for 80-110 ea, coal for 150-200ea.

Haven't played RuneScape since 12 january 2007 and it feels great :)

As said above sell in Falodor or Varrock. I would sell your coal for 150 ea at least and your iron for 90 ea. Don't forget people like to buy in big bulks so if you are going to sell, sell in 1k bulks.
