Carrying an exposed flame(lit torch) will cause the slime to explode and deal you 16 damage. [edit]Wait a second... that's not even what you asked! Here's what you want; These caves are located south east from Draynor Village and resides in the Lumbridge Swamp. Bring a lantern (preferably a bullseye lantern made by crafting) a tinderbox and a spiny helmet (can be bought at any Slayer master) to ward off wall beasts, gasses and bugs that come when your light goes out.
