adthegreat-
In my house we have two computers, one of them is situated next to the internet connection and mine, is connected to the LAN wirelessly. I use Windows Service Pack 2. Me and my father decided to update the firmware on our router to the newest version. The router we have is the DG834GT, my wireless adapter is the WG111T. With this version of firmware, i would frequently lose signal to the router from my computer. I would just turn the router on and off again and it would seem to work. Also, sometimes, less often, i would lose access to the internet connection, but retain signal with the router. Since this, i decided to put the firmware back to the version that i beleive we were on (i have tried all firmware versions now), and i thought it was fine. Unfortunately the signal remains, but my internet connection is stopping every few minutes. The other variable that coincides with this is we changed ISP, but I can't see how that would change anything. If anyone can suggest anything that might solve this, please do, or if anything will help (HJT log, cant see as it makes a difference though), please tell me. Thanks in advance.
