ive got a ring of wealth and it hasnt gotten me anything good, i no that it increase the rare drop rate but what rate is it for getting a draon spear from a hill/moss giant?

the ring of wealth is a pretty fickle object. some say it helps them with rares and some say it doesnt. It could just have been another item that jagex made to bring down the inflation. It cant really be proven to help someone obtain a rare

it might be a reverse plot.....it may lower your chances....i just bought one....darn

I know for 100% sure that it gives 25% better MONEY drops.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am not sure about the rares.

i believe jagex stated it increaases chance of rare drops, but it dosnt insure a drop in so many kills, it just increases the likely hood from kill to kill.

from my understanding jagex says it gives a better drop in 1/5 monsters which is 20%

I dont really know what jagex says but while killinf fire giants or lesser deamons i checked (by my own experience) that they drop near 25% and that is while killling over 2k each monsters.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But if jagex says 20% better then they must be right altough i get 25%.

About the rare drops i checked something really strange:

 

 

 

sometimes we fight like for 1 entire day and zero drops.

 

 

 

othertimes we fight like for 15 minutes and you can get 3 drops.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ok, its random..... but i belive there are some other factors (besides ring of weath) that may change the rares drop factor.

i begin to think that a ring of wealth is a jinx.. i fite 5 lessers, i get 2 rune meds, i fite 20 lessers, i get all money :( :(
