TheHorror
I turned my Xbox 360 console vertically ingame, and heard a horrible grinding sound. When I looked at my disc there was a horrible ring around it. Does this ring effect my game? or My Console?! Will Microsoft replace my game?! I mean crap man, thats like his stomach plug on the ground back there, I mean im know doctor but that seems impossible due to body organs and cartelidge, i mean that was just one clean chunk
blade995
This was a known problem with the first set of Xbox 360's. Microsoft said they will not fix/ replace the games. I would send the xbox 360 in for repairs and they will fix it for free. At least thats what they did when this happened on a large scale about 6 months ago. My suggestion is to find a game store that fixes scratched games and bring it to them. This happened with my PS2 about a year ago and I brought it to a game store and they fixed the game for $3 bucks so it's not expensive.
TheHorror
Do you know if it effects the gameplay? And I heard that most game stores just use a CD doctor and dont really do any good. zonda
I use polish / car wax on all my old games - beleive it or not it fixes it. It's really just a temp fix, since the wax eventually fades out, but I just keep the bottle next to my ps2. ...
