[1.0 Introduction]

Hello all, some of you may of read my Barrows guide, now with over 900+ views. Thanks guys! With that in mind I decided to write a guide on my newest discovery. Combining Lunar Magics, Kingdom of Miscellania, Farming, Crafting, Woodcutting, Fletching Runecrafting and money making! Sounds too good to be true, I think not!

1.1. The concept

The idea is that you pump money into the kingdom̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s coffers, use lunar magics to make contact with Advisor Grimm, and camp at Tree Gnome Village. At the village you can do many many things with the items that you receive from the kingdom.

Methods of gaining xp from using this guide:

Farming: Growing the high level trees you receive the seeds from kingdom

Crafting: Spinning the flax you receive from kingdom

Woodcutting: Cutting the yews and magics while waiting for the trees to grow

Fletching: Using the logs you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve cut from the woodcutting step and the bowstrings you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve obtained from the crafting step to make yew and magic bows. If you choose not to alch your bows in the money making step, you can trade the finished bows for supplies on world 132, Yannile bank

Runecrafting: Crafting nats to alch the bows while you are waiting for the trees to grow is good xp aswell.

Money Making:There are a few ways to do this. Selling the bow strings, alching the bows you get with the nats that you can craft. Selling the seeds you can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t use can be sold for a tidy profit aswell

You also obtain the birds nests which can be ground and used to make sara brews for fight caves

[2.0 Requirements]

For this you need to have finished the following quests:

Lunar Diplomacy

Kingdom Of Miscellania

Royal Trouble (Highly recommended)

Tree Gnome Village (Highly recommended for Spirit Tree use)

You need to have the following items:

Full shed of gardening tools with the leprechaun

As many astral runes as you can get your hands on (Craftable on Lunar Isle)

As many cosmic as you have astral runes

Twice as many air runes as you have cosmics (Or an air staff)

Earth Staff for Fertile earth spell (or earth runes)

Super compost if you do not have the level for fertile soil spell

Plant cures

Gardening pots

Pestle and mortar

Highest level woodcutting axe you can use (Dragon works the best, worth the money)

You need to have the following skills

75+ Woodcut

35+ Farming (Willow trees and up)

66 Magic (Contact NPC spell)

83 Magic is recommended for fertile soil

[3.0 Method]

This methods starts off with you at Miscellania with normal mage.

Boost up your favour to 100% by working on the farms if you have completed Royal Trouble (RT), or raking the flax and herb patches if you haven̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t finished RT.

Head over to advisor Grimm and insert 1Mil cash into the coffers, and set the effort like shown below.

(This is based on that you have completed RT, if you haven̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t, forget the flax)

So, your country is content with you and they have been cashed up. Time to get to work. Head to the bank and grab your seal of passage from Lunar Diplomacy (LD). If you have dropped it, speak to Brundt the chieftain at Relleka to get it back.

While you are at the bank make sure to bring some form of teleportation out of there, I suggest a glory for Edgeville so you can make quick use of the spirit trees. Remember, normal teleport spells do not work, refer to Tip. Its lunar magics guide for teleportation info.

So you have your seal of passage and a glory, take the boat back to Relleka, and go to the west most dock and talk to Lokar Searunner to travel to pirate cove. Talk to Captain Bentley and he will take you to Lunar Isle. Head down the ladders and go south past the suqahs and over the bridge. Head east and go to the altar. Pray here and you will have access to Lunar Spells, congratulations.

Glory to edgeville and head east over the bridge, keep going until you see the spirit tree, use it to get to Tree gnome village, and again to get to the stronghold. Good work on getting this far, the easy part is over. You should now be at tree gnome stronghold, with Lunar Magic activated, 1 Mil cash in the coffers and your island at 100%. You now have a few choices depending on what you plan to do here.

- Log off for the night/day and check back in 24 hours

- Cut willows/yews/magic trees

- Plant a tree seed that you happen to have

- Craft/Run nats: Glide to al-kharid, get essence, glide to Karajama, go to altar, craft/trade nats, and glory back. This method is extremely helpful if you plan on making and alching bows later on in this guide.

I prefer to cut a few loads of yews/magics logs then craft equal numbers of nats

After the 1st day, use the contact NPC spell to contact the advisor, and tell him to send you your items. The first time you should receive about 1.2k flax, 1.8k maples and roughly a dozen nests. Check the nests, grind the nests, and bank the seeds. At this point I suggest that you head to the tree patch and fill your all of your plant pots with soil, plant the seeds that you can in the pots (Yes, all of them), and water them. This will allow you later on to harvest and cut down the tree to immediately replant, it just makes it easier. Prepare the tree patch by raking it and performing the fertile soil spell for the compost. If you do not have the magic level, simply apply super compost. Plant your tree of choice and pay the gardener if you are able to (In my experience I have used even normal compost and it has still not died).

Repeat this step for the fruit tree patch if you received the correct seeds. At this point you have a few more choices:

- Spin the flax into bow strings using the wheels just to the south east of the bank.

- Fletch the maples if you feel that you need the xp

- Cut more trees whilst keeping an eye on your trees

- Collect Snape Grass using the waterbirth island spell and glories to Edgeville

- Log off for another day/night

Yes you can do combat but remember that you lack a lot of teleportation skills, Catherby, Port Khazard and the fishing guild are the only good places. You also lack any aggressive magic. What I did for a little bit is that I used Contact NPC to get my slayer assignments from Vanakka in Edgeville dungeon, who gave me bloodvelds. I used my ectovial to get to Canafis and the slayer tower. So that worked out pretty well.

So this is basically what I have done for 10 days and this is the next part of my guide

[4.0 Rewards]

This is what I received when I put in 1mil into the coffers

10.7k Maples (1.07 Mil cash)

7K Flax (1.4Mil when in strings)

157 Nests total (Uncounted rings: seeds)

Many tree seeds:

1 Spirit seed

5 Pineapple Seeds

8 Curry seeds

About 20 Acorns

15 Apple seeds

10 Orange seeds

18 Willow seeds

12 Maple seeds

From cutting trees I have about 1k yews and 500 magics

No big drops from the bloodvelds though

Trying to get a new sig... Idea's anyone?

Nioce guide 8-)

Well done ::'

hows the weather up there. where the rich people live. currently, in the poor area its -1.
  • 3 weeks later...

I agree. Very nice guide. I'll start implementing some of the ideas you present here. Thanks!

One small correction though, if you pay the gardner to watch your trees you don't need to use any compost or stand around watching it. It will never get dieseased and die. That's what you pay the gardner for.
