More people on one fishing spot?

Featured Replies

I was just wondering whether more people on one fishing spot means you get fish slower. I assumed that the number of people had no effect on how quickly you got the fish, but I have just been fishing at pictoris (or whatever that place is called) and people are insulting me left, right and centre for fishing at the same spot as them?

Don't think it slows down, but I think it makes the spots move more often if they are heavily fished.

Im guessing when they spawn they have a random amount of logs/fish on one tree/fishing spot, once its empty the tree falls or the fishing spot switches to another.

The fishing rate is the same no matter how many people are on the spot. Although as a tip if you want fewer people, world 2 always seems to be nearly empty at fishing spots.
