Hill giants didn't take long for me. :) However, I'm pretty sure the drop rate is so low for everything, it doesn't really make a difference. Just kill whatever you find easiest first.

it has the same drop rate from every monster, i would do hill giants or lesser demons (if u high enough combat) first since they're easy to kill fast

i have 101 combat so thats no probleme but its rumered some have better rates then others an ive killed well over 2k lessers and no scroll (for slayer im almost lvl 75)
