Hunting?

Hunting is just one more thing i have missed in my absence from RS... If any one could tell me what this skill is, why its so good if it even is, and what the point of it is.

the hunting skill is uh unique in its .. own ... way. so basically all its here is to do some future quests, to gain your total level higher, and also some hunting animals drop things that are useful. for example the barb-tailed kebit, once you successfully trap them, their tail falls off and can be used as an equip able fishing harpoon. also this opened a variety of new armours/clothing's. like kebit hunter clothes, ghraak armour. although all of the clothes do not support more of the armour feature, they all help as a camouflage in certain hunting areas. well, i hope that helped.

Basically, hunting is catching animals by a variety of means, including tracking, or many different traps you can get once you level up. It has some good benefits to other partso the game as you get higher aswell, such as butterflys which can be caught and used in combat situations as potions, like Super Attack, except it is a butterfly, or the new harpoon that you can weild, freeing up a spot for fishing,
