You should one hit most of the time on the silver rocks, problem isn't how hard it'll be to get the ore, it's the few silver rocks and long respawn times that will take forever.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Try the crafting guild on a busy world and hope that it's empty. Still you're only looking at about 350 silver ore an hour. Which is about 115 hours (4 days 18 hours, ish) of mining to get 40k.

Why are you mining so much silver? I mean if it is for crafting there are easier faster ways to get it up.

Mining clay and making bowls would be alot faster to raise crafting. You can just camp out at the crafting guild.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The 115 hours to mine it all seems reasonable.
