I remember a couple of months back there was definitely a world where most everyone went to do Pest Control... Games lasted about a minute, and there were always about a hundred people there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Does this world still exist? And if so, which is it? I've completely forgotten (though it might be something like 66, or 42, or something)

nope, theres no official pest control world.

 

 

 

you're probably mistaking it for the shades of mort'ton world (which is world 2)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

if you want to go on a world with plenty of ppl, try going on worlds with lots of ppl on it, such as world 2 or 6.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but usually a good pc world is pretty random.

 

 

 

try looking on the official runescape forum for a pest control world.

 

 

 

or better yet, try joining a pest control clan on the runescape forum.

When pest contorl first came out, world 78 was where everybody went to play. This world has somewhat died out now due to the amount of IRC channels, Forums and small groups which offer faster worlds. #pest (100+) and #pestcontrol (100+) are to name 2.

Yeah, too many low levels join games making them harder to win.

 

 

 

As a result, higher level players began abandoning the game.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To keep the noobs guessing, the high level players constantly switch worlds.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want to be part of that you have to do the following...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Post on the official RS forums under Events, stating your level and that you want to play PC. You'll eventually be PM'ed to join a specific world number.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. You could also join a dedicated PC clan... I hear there's quite a lot of them

Not sure why, your best bet is to maybe latch onto a clan, or even join one.
