So i got a Visa gift card ($25) and in RS's Billing FAQ it says I can use a gift card. Peachy. Yet when I try it, it doesn't work. I'm using the number in the front of the card as the first number they require, then MY name, then the last 3 digits of the number in the back as the 2nd number they require, and finally, expirations dates (Dec '06- Dec '08) Is there anything I'm doing wrong or shouldn't be doing?

Just make sure you're entering everything like you would a regular credit card, i've heard that visa gift cards do work.
