When it comes to PHP, im not a beginner but im not an expert. I am wondering how to create a RuneScape highscores script. It will be simple, I will need a text box (for the name) and and submit button, When submit is pressed, the stats for the name are shown. Does anybody have any suggestions to what I can do? Please dont point me in the direction of Freeware scripts like RSHlib.

you will need to use.... if i remeber right. have it linked to Runescape.com highscores. Have a compare for the text box (will compare the name typed in for a name in rs highscores) and then a lookup (will get the data for the selected character) and a getInt (Will bring the data on screen for you to see)
