magictv
Hi there. I have firefox internet browser, which is good and such but when I am visiting websites it seems to download parts of the page randomly to my desktop without me asking it to. ^^an example file it downloaded when on a forum. Another thing, this only occurs in firefox. It doesn't do this when I use IE or Opera. If you could help me solve this problem I would be very gratefull. Vape
Most likely that is because the server hosting the website is misconfigured. Can you give us an example website where this problem occurs? You could check under tools -> options -> content -> file types -> manage and see if php is listed (if it is, which I doubt, delete the reference to it.) Where the bloody hell are you? magictv
It does this on tip it forums, and just about every other webpage I go on including google images. It's odd. I looked for the PHP listing by the way and I couldn't find it. Is there a way to reset firefox to default settings? If so would that work? Thanks for your help. :) [/bads]
weezcake
Are you holding down the ALT button when clicking links? It happens to me all the time.. I get a bunch of index.php files on my desktop because I'm trying to alt+tab, then click a link too quickly. I wish I knew how to disable it. ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring.
