With that much money, bulk coal is good. You can buy 130-150 then sell on forums (read others posts if your F2P) for 200 ea. My friend made 2.5m in under an hour doing this. The only downside is that it requires a significant capitol, but it sounds like you already have this.

There are two problems with steel bars. First of all, many people merchant them, and it can be hard to make a good profit off of them. The second problem is that it is hard to get large amounts of steel bars. Coal is easy to get in 10k+ amounts, as many people mine, but don't want to bother buying/mining iron and smithing.

No one sells coal less than 150 each and no one buys coal for 200 each, a FEW people do but not enough to make profit on. The most I have seen people buying coal for is 180 each now if you buy for 150 each thats 20gp profit per ore but...if you look at the number you will find if you buy 10k coal (150 each) for 1.5m then sell for 1.8m you have made 300k now most people who sell in 1k amount know what the price is for coal so they sell for 180 each, this is not a good way to go. What is a good way to go is iron and coal, what I mean is buy 10k iron for (100 each) 1m gp then 20k coal for (180 each) 3.6m, this will take you a few days but once you got 10k iorn and 20k coal you have spent 4.6m gp, now you got to find people who are selling steel bars trade them the amount of iron and the amount of coal to make the amount of steel bars they got. once you got 10k steel bars sell for 550 each getting you 5.5m making 900k-1m gp in a few days time.
