January 9, 200719 yr I got a few questions about making cannon balls 1. How many xp can you get an hour by making cannon balls? 2. Is there a faster smithing way with steel to level up smithing?
January 9, 200719 yr Cannon balls are extremely slow smithing experience. It generally takes three times longer to smith a steel bar into cannon balls than it would to smith it into say, arrow tips. It's quite good money, but in my opinion, not worth the effort. When i tried it, I was averaging about 300 bars per hour (1200 cannon balls)
January 10, 200719 yr It's quite possibly the slowest smithing exp except maybe smelting bronze bars. And the fastest xp from your steel bars is definately steel platebodies.
