well maybe 5-6 hrs (I think, i've nvr cut that many), depending on how full the world is and how many autoer there are interferring with you cutting.

 

i'd so no for the mining question.

 

 

 

from my experience it's all pretty much random.

Agreed. Until you have a mining level ~10+ higher than the level needed to mine the ore the time needed is determined by you pickaxe, and even with the higher level it can take quite a few hits to get anything. At 64 mining I can one-hit coal, but more often than not I take ~10 hits.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The same applies to woodcutting speed.

the higher mining lv u r it does help, ie one hit iron at lv 41

 

 

 

but lower lvs can out mine me at coal because it is random.

 

 

 

if it wasn't then coal prices would definitely increase
