January 14, 200719 yr I have a small suggestion for greater account security. On the main RuneScape page, under account management, should be a new option, Change IP Accessibility. (If someone can make a lock icon for the IP accessibility, that would be great) So once inside, it will ask for the account username and password. You type those in, and it will ask you to type in the IP address, or alternatively to select the IP address you are currently using. Like the bank pin, there is a 7 day waiting period for it to take effect. Also, when you make a new account, there is a new option in the create an account screen, set ip. The create account button that was formerly on the password screen would be moved to this screen. EDITS: You can choose if you want all other account options (change recvoeries, password, etc.) from your ip address. There is also an option on the front page "I've lost/changed my ip and can't log on". To change this works much the same way as recoveries, but it takes 7 days to take it off. When you login, you get a warning "X days until ip accessibility is changed". Also, on the last day there is one final confirmation when you log in. January 14, 200719 yr i think this is a BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD idea. This will mean people can only play on one computer so most people cant play at school, work and at the friends house. i dont like this idea
January 14, 200719 yr Author If you read the suggestion, you would have seen that there is an option to set multiple ip's. And personally I think it's worth being restricted to the one ip for greater account security.
