as it turns out my motherboard is what's causing my problems and i can't replace it because i'm using a barebones system. I need a soundcard, PREFERABLY WITH:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEREO in's and outs, using female phono connectors. the red and white things.

 

 

 

48khz and preferably 24bit sound quality

 

 

 

PCI compatible. not usb unless the latency is low.
