Starting hunting?

I am just about to train 'hunting' for the first time. I was just curious to know where to begin, possible to powertrain at a certain spot without having to keep moving to different areas and find new equipment? Also a levelling guide and what id need to hunt those certain things would help.

Try the hunting guide on the main site. they have some good tips for starting. My method of leveling (trying to get 43) is just set up a couple of bird traps in the woodland (near tree gnome stronghold) and reap the rewards. Also get minor cooking exp because I bring a spit for the meat.
