Cowhide Crafting advice

I just recently bought 4000 cowhides to raise my crafting, im currently lvl 48 crafting and I want to raise it enough that i can start making green dragon hide armors, So i was looking at the exp chart and i was not sure, coifs give more experience than hard leather bodies but everyone seems to make hard leather bodies instead.. anyone care to explain why people make hard leather bods instead of coifs, and also wheither i should be doing that to.

for hard leather bodies you just click needle and hide for full inv.. therefore the speed depends on you clicking speed

WHAT!!!!!!! You mean I bought 22k cowhides, tanned them and then did coifs to 80 crafting, and could have done it faster with hard leathers. ARRRRGH!!!!!!!

i did it with coifs too, for me its more efficient.. more XP, more time to do other things ..

I've been making hard leather bodies, but I'm F2P, so I don't really have a choice. But I understand what people have been saying about the coifs. Though hard leather works perfectly fine for me.

Hard leather is much faster to craft, giving you more time to do something else. Sure, coifs give more exp per hide, but also take a lot longer to craft.

as i said.. for me its efficient.. because i just hate clicking buttons!! just like im getting bored with fm atm ;)

buy cowhides and make leather(not hardleather) and then make leather chaps. At least you get to do 10 at a time

Crafting hardleathers isn't that bad :P Set needle either left or above the bottom right corner then craft hardleather bodies as you walk toward Al Kharid bank after you tan them. By the time you finish crafting your last hide, you would be at bank 8-)
