Account Stolen! And Recoveries Unset?

Featured Replies

My RS account which I regularly log into to make sure it doesn't get hacked, was hacked!

I tried recovering the account, but what do I see? My recoveries are unset?!

Itstead of showing the actual question, it shows Question 1, Question 2, etc.

How did that ever happen? And then after I gave all my information, it says We do not have enough proof or something to conclude you are the account owner. They then showed a few numbers and told me to write them down. Then type them into the screen.

So now what? Do I wait?

I have already lost an account to a hacker, and this may just be the last straw

The numbers you are given you have to tpye in recover a lsot account, then it will say account is still pending it sohuld take no longer then a day for them to reply.

It takes 15 days to reset the recovery questions...and it will tell you if someone is trying to reset them on the screen after you log in. It will say: "New Recovery Questions will be set [Date]" Be sure to watch for that.
