Featured Replies

The only one that i can resize to that's close to scape standards is 200x150, and that looks horrible. :/ Any ideas to resizing it to 300x150 or 300x100?

Bah, I tried and got the same results.. Here's one I'm sure you can make fit..

It's 1200x400 (could easily be resized to 300x100)..

Not bad :)

Will add some animation tommorrow, off to sleep now. :)

Great work.

Is it HDRI or just fancy materials? And did you use a different r/s for it or just default 3ds? I gotta learn that stuff >.<

I'm rendering using a renderer called Vray and yes, using an hdri map...

HDRI is a simple and fast way to get neat results :)

I'm sorry to say it, but 3dsmax's scanline renderer isn't much when its glass/reflections..

Ah, i see. I've got free version of Vray, hoping to get Brazil or Full Vray for xmas :D

And another question, where do you get your textures from for the ground? Or are they just ones that come with 3ds?

It's a VrayMtl which I downloaded from somewhere...

Bleh couldn't find it so i upped it instead.. You can download the whole selection of materials here (800k);

EDIT: Now when i read through your post again, i noticed you were wondering about all my textures..

All of the brownish ones are actually the same.. It's the default material in max.. (you know, the grey one).

The kitchen hdri-map does the rest..

BAH EDIT 2:

The more that i think of it, the more sure i am that the wood-material also is included in the original Vray-materials.mat, but I don't have the time to check..

Bed time.. (the pics/mats wont work :/)..

See you tomorrow all
