I'm rendering using a renderer called Vray and yes, using an hdri map...

 

 

 

HDRI is a simple and fast way to get neat results :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm sorry to say it, but 3dsmax's scanline renderer isn't much when its glass/reflections..

Very true, my apologies.. I must say i haven't tried making a probe myself.. I "hang" at a forum at which I heard about hdri, and i've seen a few problems with it..

The picture should be big enough to resize constraining the proportions and still fill upp all space.. (not sure though)..

The only one that i can resize to that's close to scape standards is 200x150, and that looks horrible. :/ Any ideas to resizing it to 300x150 or 300x100?

Bah, I tried and got the same results.. Here's one I'm sure you can make fit..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's 1200x400 (could easily be resized to 300x100)..
