Do I need to complete any quests to be able to kill the monsters that drop the mask?

 

 

 

How often will it drop? (compared to half keys, or something)

 

 

 

Im 97 combat, 70 defence, 85 ranged, should I mage or melee them? (Or D halberd?)

its a slayer monster u need to kill plus i think u have to be 58 slayer and do a quest forgot what one sorry

You need to do the Cabin Fever quest

yeah, 58 slayer and cabin fever...

In terms of how often it will drop.... I think it's 1 in 600 odds. Plus Cave Horrors hit often as they use mage and melee attack. There's a couple of safe range spots though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They're also a great source of high level herb seeds.
