February 11, 200719 yr Hallo thar. I've googled many a time to try and find a cable that will allow me to play my Nintendo Wii on my TFT monitor. This has come around ever since I threw my TV out of my halls 2nd floor window, very rock'n'roll, I know, due to the TV license folks knocking on my door. To cut the story short, yes, I know the rules, yes I was going to claim it as a monitor, but yes, I could still receive TV signals without an external ariel. So out it went. Literally. Back to the matter on hand, I keep coming up short for a relatively cheap option to connect my Wii to my TFT. I recall the Xbox having a cable, and I also recall talk of Nintendo releasing a cable, but nothing as of yet. I found a VGA translator for around ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã40, which seems a bit steep for me. So, anyone got any alternative methods? It's a regular TFT, cable output (I think its VGA...or RGB...gah I get so confused >.<), so any methods, posted with a guide, would be greatly appreciated by your resident smeghead. Viva Crispy Duck. February 27, 200719 yr I looked around online a bit and seems your out of luck, Nintendo isn't making (or hasn't made yet) a VGA cable for the Wii. Too bad too, I got a VGA cable for my xbox yesterday [to compliment my 22' monitor] and it looks amazing. I don't think a translator would work too terribly well for it :(.
February 27, 200719 yr I know people who have the same problem. Minus the literal throwing of the TV out. :P So far, they haven't been able to find a cable either. :S
