iron spit for the hunting areas of runescape

Featured Replies

I need an iron spit for the hunting areas of runescape to cook the birds. I looked everywhere to no avail, no one sells them. I got some iron ore to smith the spits. It says requirement is 33 smithing, I am 39, but it would not work. Anyone got any ideas where to find an iron spit?

Smelt the Iron Ore into a Bar using a furnace. (there is a 50% success rate unless using a ring of forging).

Use the Iron bar on an anvil (with a hammer in your inventory) and select to smith an Iron Spit.

This is the problem...I did all that...but the anvil will not let me make a spit. I have enough smithing xp to do it, but it doesnt work.
