I don't really now the boost of the different things but if the boost is better than legend cape I think the skills should be boosted. Also this would make a great improve ment to the smithing skill, YET! Improvements can be made.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm a n00b at skills and so, but I think:

    You should make an unenchanted helmet with chicken feathers that can be painted with dye.
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
    The ostrich feathers can also be painted in order to give you the choice of chosing your color (White feater with full Zammy or Guthix? NO WAI!!!).
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
    You should be able to make fullhelmets without a feather.
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
    You should be able to but an ostrich (or normal feather) dye-and/or undyes into your "Pointed hats" like wizards hats or Canfis hats or so giving them a minor boot (if enchanted) and a special look to your hat.
