FuBai
Vaguley experimental poem: A Picture of Words It is so easy to be melodramatic, to pour dark Lines of text, as though they were your Life blood. To look at them and dwell down there, amongst Those somber letters, sitting in your own, Self enforced, cage. It is much harder to sing in such a way, as to Make your pleasure, that flicker smile, Really known Yet what ever I type on my mental ticker-tape And stream past my searching eyes Is nothing at all How can I describe it, and know you have felt it Like I have, to give you a sense of something You can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t touch. With your hand Like a diamond So I stare at a blank page for eternity And never express a single part of reality (The title is a reference to the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus, and to Wittgenstien's theory of language in general) (touch/ with your hand/ like a diamond - a reference to Death of a Salesman)
