Anyone want to help/ give pointers please?

Ok i am working on my first cs2 graphic and it is going to be a simple sea scene with a few rocks and shells scattered on the beach, some seaweed around the rock and a few small animals (starfish, crabs ect.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i have gotten the base so far:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

could anyone offer any pointers on how i could improve on this and if so how should i? also if anyone could help me with drawing rocks so they don't look like blocks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

also if my blending doesnt look too great its because i only really started doing it yesterday :s

the first thing i notice is that the angle is weird

i think you need to change the waters edge

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

im not a pro at photoshop but ill try to make a few rocks

I was thinking that the angle was strange but it seemed right when drawing it so i may have to change that.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And water's edge well that was temporarily done with water tool until i figure out how to get a realistic foam texture. Also did it because i was rather tired when finishing up tonight.
