when doing the compition, is a long bow better and more accurate than a short?

I'd think so because jagex says the longbow is better for being accurater then the short, I am not sure if it applys the the guild.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

With 55 range and a mage short I never missed the target while training my range.

Well they have the same range bonus, the only differnce is that short bow shoots faster and long bow shoots farther, in the contest it doesnt matter since all the targets are close enough and you have to go through screens to shoot more then once.

I've never tested it. Are the stats for each bow the same? That's the only thing that'd make a difference.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The long bow is somewhat slower than a shortbow though.

what about the type of bow, does a normal have the same chance as hitting as a magic?

i think the magic is the best of all of the others for accuracy

The better the bow and the better your range level.
