Merchanting?

hi i was always wondering what people meant when they say "merchanting".. what does it exactly mean?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

does it mean selling stuff to make money? or does it mean buying supplies without using skills? whats the best way for f2p to merchant?

Buying + selling items to make profits. Basically to make extra money from an item after buying from a set price.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ex: Purchased an item at 1,000,000gp. Merchanting = selling that item for 1,000,001gp +.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My definition is very undeveloped, but it's a general idea of what merchanting is.
