i like the 2nd one better.. but i think you killed the contrast (on the water part).... if you take the first one and make the lip of the glass sharper(it looks undefined) i think it will look perfect.

I think you may be right. However, it is late at the moment. So perhaps tomorrow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I could use a contrast brush just on the rim.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Or I could manually tone down the other one in certain spots.
