March 6, 200719 yr Through out playing RS I have had many goals. I do not set them to high or to low but agressive enough to keep RS interesting. One of my long term goals was 120 Combat. I figured away to hit it and also hit 99 in Attack. So after months of training and fun times I hit them both. So as I like to do, I wanted to share my drops and fun times with my friends and everyone in the community I call home. SoDB. I held two party's so people from the USA and Euro's could attend ((Euro event timing was a little messed up due to surprise visit from girlfriend)) First Event was my 99 Attack and 120 Party. A decent turn out of SoDB and some old friends and DK partners. We met at Canniffs bank and then made our way up north to the Broken Bridge. This place is cool to level because if you click on bridge, it's like your own person cut scene. So after leveling I announce the World and where my house was on SoDB and GOF chat. We made it to my house and began the Pick a Number / Drop party style. Here is the loot that was available: After 3 rounds no one got the Left half... But all other big items where snatched up by members... We then went up stairs to my 4 combat rings and began a Melee Frenzee.. We had some fun, even though Blur kept PJ'ing me when I was owning ERod... ;) I was planing to have party #2 6 hours after this party, but my IRL girlfriend surprised me and I was off for the rest of the night... I woke up and decided to have the party Saturday. I PM'ed everyone on list and met every at 99 Edge.. ((Seems like the only place people SoDB hangs out these days :headbang: )) After an 1 hour delay due to work, I logged in and we were off for party # 2 82 Herb and 90 Cook Leveling Party... Levels I decided to get just for the party so we could celebrate something.. Anyway... We went down to the edge Dungeon for the Levels and the Drop/Pick a number party. Gratz to Starwars on getting that Whip ((Burnt Sausage)) he long awaited.. After the party I enjoyed some DK'ing with some friends and had a good time. All in all it was a fun weekend with OLD friends from SoDB, new friends from SoDB, new friends from GOF and all my old mates that still play. People have asked me... How much total do you think you dropped at the partys? I reply... 0... The drops didn't cost me anything and to give back to SoDB and my friends is worthe it... Thanks SoDB.... March 6, 200719 yr this is why i enjoy playing rs so much, the chance to do fun exciting things with both old and new friends :D hope you really enjoyed yourself dean =D> :P
