  1. When I first saw this I thought 'ugh another SWP' (I don't remember forum names well :P) Then when I came on the thread and saw what you did, I was amazed. Mind me asking how you got the money for all those 99's? I'm gonna have to guess at merching. 4/10 Well nah ok 10/10 :) (By the way, lol nolife)
  2. Hehe, logged on just to post in this topic :P This could take a while. [hide=Wall of text]When I first started playing my sister saw me and thought it was a pretty cool game if it was free. She created an account and we both started mining and smithing. (which we both loved, wish I still had that attitude). Every time we went on we would mine at least once. We heard someone speak of falador. We had no idea where it was so we googled the runescape world map. I clicked on one and it brought me to tip.it. From then on we used Tip.it for everything; for guides; for quest guides etc; but most importantly, the world map. We saw on the world map 'Dwarven mine', and where better than a dwarven mine to mine stuff. By this time we both had healthy cash piles which we tried to keep above 20k by mining/smithing, and when we had this much we thought we would be kind and help people fresh off tutorial island by making them sets of full iron. 20 sets we made, and we only gave it to people who said something along the lines of 'Really? Thanks!' Upon further examination of Tip.it, we found the full world map. We had no idea that most of it was members only or indeed what members were. We looked and saw many interesting places on the map, and when we were looking through the mining guide we saw something about Keldagrim, and about it being the home of the dwarves or something like that. We planned our route, and stocked up on self made supplies. I made us both a set of steel armour (I had an addy scimmy cause I was that good) and she fished and cooked 50 lobbies each. Eventually we were ready, and set off from Falador. As you can imagine the journey was short-lived but we still had a great time exploring all around the non-members areas. As time went by she started playing less and less and soon she quit altogether. I carried on training my skills but F2p was boring me, it was normal now. I wanted to explore. I would spend ages walking up and down the wall boundaries at members only points, looking in to see what I could see. Eventually, at a combat level of 60-something, with all non-member quests complete, I got members. I instantly bought a G maul and duelling ring and went to play a LOT of castle wars. Afterward I spent the next two days (when I was actually on) exploring, had quite a few deaths as I wandered deeper and deeper into members territory, got pked for my rune full helm and scimmy cause I didn't know what the ardy lever did :P. Painfully did agility so I could do the elf quests and generally had a great time.[/hide] So yeah, in conclusion I think the reason people don't explore as much as they used to is because of a few reasons: 1. They 'explore' before they even become members by looking at the internet 2. The game warns them that they will die before they get a chance to experience it. (Who cares if the wyvern is going to freeze my face off I want to go in there!) 3. They don't see the 'point' in exploring anymore. As someone put it earlier in the thread runescape is a lot more goal oriented now. (The main reason I don't have any 99s is cause I don't find them fun or see the point in going just for the cape.) I'm going to stop blabbering now (that really was bigger than I thought it would be)
  3. Haha, what a night! This could take a while. First of all, the drop log, I only started logging when we got that first elixir. [hide=Drop Log][/hide] The team was getting very lucky there with some of the drops. The Ely was got while I wasn't there, so I missed out on about 9-10 mil lsp :/ (got annoyed about that :P) Then we all swapped teams and while we were waiting to be added so we could put ls on, we had a ffa kill. This happened. * I was really happy with that, sure it's junk, but it sells after a few days in g/e. Also because it was ffa my lsp didn't change at all ^^ (Wasn't great anyway) *by the way I was freaking out a bit because: a) I got the drop against some 130's; B) because it's a rare drop; and c)...I may have thought it was worth more in the region of 10mil :P The only other drop I managed to screeny was the last elixir. [hide=Another Elixir][/hide] Anyway I had a great time and will definitely adding to that drop log. Edit: Sold overnight
  4. They just changed the icon in your inventory, and I think what it looks like on the ground.
  5. Bounty hunter problems and how to solve them -People wanting no armour Attack them whenever they step in the wildy, wait until they have spent 10 minutes in a safe zone -People refusing to fight, and will only let YOU give THEM a 26k kill when YOU want to actually FIGHT them. Explain to them how they are in no place to make demands if they aren't willing to fight when they step in the wildy. Argue with them until they give you a 26k (give them one back) or wait 10 minutes. Or they will come in and fight. That's pretty much what I do to idiot targets. I also Pk most of the time with private chat off, because 82 defence is around the time people start yelling 'Def???' I mean, if it bothers you that much, then your account should have it so you wouldn't get hit so much yourself.
  6. You really like plastering me all over the internet, don't you!? I'm now in your sig, and twice in your vid (getting abused). Thanks a lot, jerk :/ Jk ilu
  7. Yes, defence is totally worth it. I am 92/92/82, and it pretty much works so that I can hit pretty hard and accurate myself, while getting called the most idiotic insult in history, 'def nub'.
  8. It's also worth saying - We had one of the C5 resources until it ran out and I'm pretty sure we got a couple from theirs. I killed a skiller on their team and got 24 C5 clay worth of stuff, which isn't that much but when it's C5 it is quite a lot. I said in CC last night that I thought they were playing quite defensively, with about 10 of them at one resource at any one time, now I think back though, there was only a minute left when I saw this and I had not seen them group like this up till then. Could just be me making things up but I'm pretty sure I saw it. Not saying I suspect unfair play here but it is pretty...well...suspicious :P
  9. =D> Grats! Nice rune full helm! \ :ohnoes: ZOMG Omfg... D hide body... Dued u stupid it oviusly the sara page...
  10. I completely agree with the last few posts, a few days ago I had a fight where I was pj'ed 5 times. 5. To be honest though Pj'ers fail a lot more than rushers, because on the rare occaision that they kill someone, they don't get the drop so they lose tonnes of money. To be honest most rushers are completely avoidable. Just be alert all the times and never tele into crowded areas without melee pray on (Sad that it has to go that far but if you don't you are much more susceptible to dying in 2 hits.
  11. Roflmao, Cash Maker44 is my friend in real life, (he got 99 hunter yesterday), he can't even wear the maul, I didn't think he paid that much for it though -.-
  12. You lose the game and the resulting rage causes you to spoon out your own brain and feed it to yourself.
  13. Yup, you've tried (and failed :D) to rush me twice now lol, got me redbarred once. And yet I still find your vids really good :P
  14. I'm not sure if I read this wrong, and if I am I apologise, but what the hell!? By this logic (if it can even be classed as that), JaGeX should not accept IP's from America, Europe, etc. because RWT isn't just in 'china or any of the asian countries, or something of that stuff', it is everywhere. Banning the whole of Asia from playing an online game is plain discrimination. Of course, there may be a lot of real world trading going on in China, but how does that justify banning the entire continent from playing? I'm sure that even on this forum there are people from Asia that play. You just made me :wall:.
  15. Hehe, when I first saw your bank I thought 'Man this guy has a lot of cra...oh nevermind...Very nice cashpile, tonnes of other expensive stuff...All that ore...And then the brawler collection...You do a lot of pvp/26k'ing. Stats are also pretty good 9/10 for bank 8/10 for stats
  16. Do us all a favour and don't look at mine then :) OT: Grats on maxed combat, 9/10.
  17. Zilyana wields the 'Saradomin Sword', not the 'Zilyana Sword'.
  18. I didn't realize you had the power to end threads. Well, its not working very well in any case. Anyways this is the REAL quote from BTS: That's what I was talking about, I wasn't even looking at the last two lines until I started to crop it. I just happened to search the RSOF and found that thread, so I thought I'd post it here. EDIT: And I'm pretty sure that by 'removed' s/he meant the item would be removed, but that doesn't necessarily mean deleted, it probably means just fixed.
  19. Nachalo The problem with this is that there is no problem. The wilderness was taken out because it was necessary, Jagex clearly didn't want to take it out but they had to because, as they stated, they might not ever have recovered from RWT. In this case, you are saying that 'Well... since the moon isn't made of cheese my idea won't work. But that doesn't mean the problem doesn't still exist. I'd rather you discuss the problem and how we can fix it, rather than discuss my ideas of fixing it. It needs to be fixed - that's all.' however what is the problem? Since I started playing, just before zombie heads, partyhats were and are a status symbol, as are scythes and yoyo's. Partyhats may be useless, but that doesn't mean it is worthless. Just because something doesn't have a direct function which you can use it for doesn't mean people don't want it. If this was the case gold is is worthless. You must spend every penny or you are completely wasting it. Still, what is the problem? I'm pretty sure that you aren't complaining about how much money rares are worth and what is wrong with them having an item that you or others don't? They started playing before you and you will find that with probably all MMO's out there people who play first get discontinued items. On some of these games the items are actually quite good, but not here. On RuneScape, what benefits do you gain from Scythes, YoYos and Rubber Chickens? Nothing. Just a status symbol to show that you have been playing the game for 'X' years. So I will ask once more, what is the problem? The answer is that there isn't one, and you shouldn't try to fix something that isn't broken. Konets
  20. Nice vid, glad I managed to stay out of your next one after you got me down to 5hp :anxious: 10/10 for vid -1/10 for rushing me :o 9/10 overall :P
  21. At mid prices: 21 purple sweets x 2,494 (Price is going up so would probably sell max) = 52,374. 1 rune legs x 52.5k (Price is going down so would probably sell min) = 52.5k #-o
  22. thounsand exadurate expecialy ...you're saying his story makes him look stupid? Also somehow 2.5k * 1000 = 2.5k, which I'm pretty sure he definitely has :P Anyway 'Great one' he doesn't have to have done the exact same method every time, and considering his mage level I doubt he would have anyway. He probably used Verac's for most of the runs. Not calling you a liar just don't automatically jump to conclusions... OT: Grats on the drop! Lucky at getting the most expensive one :P
  23. Didn't you post a big rate this for 100 whip drops? Anyways Congrats on the 50th hilt nice amount of cash flow Lol'd Grats on the 50 hilts :o You must have made ~1 bil from them? :o 10/10
  24. Wow :o Nice story, I like stories instead of 'Luk aye wnet bnadso wif 9001 people nd gut 2 geepee hlit spilt!!!', and the fact that you got it 'solo' (:P) makes it even better :) Grats on the drop, and grats for everyone there dying :) 9/10 for the drop 10/10 for the story
