if you draw a line between Ancient Cavern and Castle Drakan in the middle is Asgarnia and in Reldo's book about the first age it said "Not much is known about the hero called by the people of Asgarnia: Robert the Strong." so maby something around falador or barbarian village like the place were they will hise. How about that strange place with the stones with the weird symbols on it which is south of the dwarven mines, north of falador and west of barbarian village? You also need to dig there for some clue scrolls.

Aha! The dragonkin's mastery of wyrms! With all the similarities between the dragonkin and mahjarat... Freneskrae, same love of bloodshed, mahjarat being shapeshifters, etc etc, surely there must be some connection? I mentioned this a while back but it didn't seem to get any serious consideration ( :( ) but more people seem to be taking interest now ( \ ) I suggested earlier that perhaps the mahjarat are some kind of dragonkin nobility or elite? Or the other way round? It seems a bit strange that the dragonkin, being apparently so similar, are different shapes of the mahjarat? Why would the mahjarat suddenly make themselves all look identical? Also, there are only a few mahjarat but judging by the number of dragon anvils, it looks like there were a lot of dragonkin, so where have these extras come from? The dragonriders, who rode wyrms, were revered as Zaros and Zamorak's personal body guards. Considering that the dragonkin may very well have been dragonriders and that the mahjarat follow only zaros and zamorak, it suggests that the mahjarat may have used the dragonkin to help their masters. I think it's time to take a serious look at this suggestion and the links between the mahjarat and dragonkin and any similarities between them. After all, is the picture from tail of two cats the only image we have of the dragonkin?

Just because the Oracle says that the stone belongs to Jas doesn't necessarily mean that Jas is a person. She could have meant to be metaphorical, for example we often say "the rain has stopped" or "the storm is brewing" but that doesn't mean the rain and the storm are people. Jas may be a term used to describe a concept or an idea or maybe even an inanimate object, for example roots belong to a tree. However, you are right that Jas is probably the name of a person. Let me put Jas through a translator/dictionary.... Jas is the name of a village in the Loire region in France, which is interesting because Zaros is the name of a village in Greece. Jasmonates are a group of plant hormones which regulate plant growth and development... JAS stands for loads of things like Japanese Agricultural Standards and the Jordanian Astronomical Society... I think the elder dragons and the dragonkin are the same thing too, but what if the elder gods and the elder dragons are the same thing? They sound similar and we believe the dragonkin once had control of the stone of jas, with the stone of jas I'm sure they'd have enough power to create the world as we know it, or at least change it so drastically that it looked like it had been recreated. But if the elder gods and the dragonkin are the same, how come Robert the Strong managed to kill one? Surely they'd have been immensely powerful? Maybe that particular one was weakened or maybe Robert the Strong was the incarnation of Zaros and that's how he got his power?

Karil's crossbow is similar to a chu-ke-nu, a Chinese repeating crossbow that fires around 10 bolts in 15 seconds (but with little accuracy or range). Karil's bow fires short bursts: one rack each time. Also, Ak-Hanaru seems dressed like a Chinese. So it could be that Karil's crossbow is from the east. It's interesting you should say this, there was a thread on the runescape forums about a year ago pointing out the similarities between the old runescape sword (was then the runescape logo) and some kind of samurai blade, couple this with the fact that Japan and China have always been "Eastern" powers and the appearances and idiolect of the karil's bolt seller as well as this find about the karil's crossbow and we have a very interesting theory.

I hate to be one of "those people," but why is it nonsense? Perhaps it's my own lack of understanding, but isn't very little known about the Eastern lands? And there have been hints to an Island related to the Majharrats, wasn't there? In that one main page banner? Or am I mistaken? :$ Well, you're right that very little is known about the Eastern Lands, but that doens't necessarily mean there's going to be a godmeeting there. Perhaps this is why morytania stinks of dragon poo, because it has wafted over from this empire to the east? It would also tie in with the points of the compass metaphor in the KBD's letter. I never found any proof that the Barrows Armour came from the East, and therefore doubt your theory. And the Icyene didn't 'took over', that sounds too hostile. I think they were given the leadership over Hallowvale, as the inscription in the Burgh de Rott pub basement says the Queen was loved by many. Furthermore, the man who gave the Barrow Brothers their armour was Sliske, a Mahjarrat, but he can't be found in Draynor Sewers. I think it's unlikely that someone in the west looked at eastern bolts and designed a nearly perfect mechanism for working them, unless there were perhaps some skirmishes between the people from the east and the people from the west and the westerners managed to pick up some of the bolts, but then again if the people from the west had had a chance to go around picking up spare bolts they'd also have had a chance to go picking up some of the other armours and weapons so I doubt that's how the karil's crossbow came about. I reckon that Sliske has to have had some contact with the eastern empire and if he got his bolts and crossbows from there, why not also get all his other armours from there? And about the four points of the compass thingy, I checked and the absolute centre of Gielinor is the little range in the south of the White Knight's castle in Falador.

This has probably already been mentioned, but what about the mahjarat all going north? I always presumed this was to do with the return of Zaros but what if it's actually to do with the return of the dragonkin? Or perhaps zaros will lead the dragonkin back to gielinor? Maybe he's got them on his side? This brings in all sorts of interesting stuff about who actually is a mahjarat, for example Vanakka, the Genie and the Oracle all have the same red markings on their faces as Lucien. And just an obscure theory here, maybe the reference in the KBD's letter to dragons being rivers flowing from a single mountain refers to dragons' power flowing from the stone of jas? Or perhaps it refers to some kind of life-giving water flowing through the channel shown in the picture of the dragon anvils in the ancient cavern?

One in the Elf lands? This is a fascinating possibility, perhaps this is the reason why Prifnidas is closed off to us? Perhaps (this is getting a bit wild now :? ) the world gate led from freneskrae to Gielinor and the ELves and Mahjarat and Dragonkin all came from there, perhaps all being related?

Potentially, could the mahjarat be the dragonkin? Possibly the mahjarat are the dragonkin's nobility? And I think I remember hearing something about Lord Drakan being a mahjarat or atleast very closely related to them, if the mahjarat really are dragonkin nobility does this mean that Lord Drakan could possibly be a dragonkin who has claimed back his castle from the Queen after she stole it? (Sorry if this sounds stupid, I'm not very up-to-date on quests) but has anyone actually ever seen Lord Drakan? Judging from the picture of the dragonkin shown they look very similar to CS Lewis's Tashlan (seen in The Last Battle, a Narnia book) who is supposed to be an evil god. The dragon anvils in the Ancient Cavern are also intriguing, what is this channel which the dragon heads roar into? Maybe it was once filled with molten ore and the dragonkin would scoop it out in bar shapes, let it cool then smith it? Perhaps it was merely filled with water to plunge the smelted weapons into after they were made? Or perhaps it was filled with something else, maybe sacred clay, maybe some other kind of magical fluid and perhaps when the dragonkin plunged weapons or unliving dragons into it it imbued them with the power of special attacks or the power of life? Either way it is very interesting.
