I don't exactly trust a random google search to download something =P

 

 

 

I need to know how to get rid of my current java and install the latest version because i have been told

 

doing so (reinstalling java for the latest version) will fix my problem.

You should go in the uninstall manager of windows and look for your java version. If got you more then 2, delete every other exept the latest (Highest number). If you want to download newest version on java, go here: Java then click "Check if I got Java" If you got latest, it will say so. If not, it will lead you to download link.

Try java.com. Should be pretty safe :P
